Ok we went to the doctors today unfortunetly my new diet didnt work she is still having trouble with her belly :-( so I officially am going to stop breast feeding, I really set myself that I was going to breast feed her that its kind of upsetting but I know it isnt helping right now. So today we are starting a soy based formula before we go and do the formula Caleb was on. (but I know that we will end up doing that formula, the dr. just wants to try it) Alexa is getting so big, she is over 10 lbs now, which seems so crazy to me it took Caleb forever to do that lol, she is our lil chunkster. Alexa has already started giggling and it is soo adorable, she did a little display for the dr today and she was amazed, she said Alexa has progress of a 3 month old, a very advance baby like Caleb was.

Miss alexa is 4 weeks!!

Jeez time flies I cant believe she is 4 weeks old today! Unfortunetly she is still having problems with her stomache I'm still breast feeding but after her appointment this week I think I might have to stop because it isnt helping her tummy. Its so hard watching her scream in pain so Im really hoping we can get her feeling better. When Caleb was a baby he hada hard time digesting food causing me to stop breast feeding and try formulas, well it took 4 months till we finally got a formula that worked it was a pre digested formula so it was easy for him and he has been the easiest baby since(besides he didnt sleep in thru the night till he was 23 months!!)So I'm assuming Alexa is going to need to do the same, The dr is gonna have me keep breast feeding till she is 6 weeks just changing my diet (no diary)and give her caro syrup to see if that helps because my dr is a strong believer in breast feeding and the formula Caleb was on is 30 dollars for a little can. Well out of all the belly problems both my kids have they are the happiest lil ones ever I love it!! I am truly blessed!

Miss Alexa @ 2 weeks

Alexa is 2 weeks old today and is getting soooo big, she smiles already all the time its soo cute!!!

sShe already rolls from belly to back its amazing, but we know its because she is not a fan of her tummy time lol. Alexa is exactly like Caleb was when he was a baby which really freaks me out sometimes not only do they look exactly alike they act exactly alike lol, her dr today said she cant believe how much they look alike, she said it was like deja vu when i walked into the office with Alexa, and that it was like having identical twins 4 years apart lol...... The good thing about her being like her big brother is he is such a great kid and I hope she'll follow in his steps, but as babies they are really hard. They are generally happy babies but have tummy issues that causes lots of crying and no sleep lol!! Alexa wakess up about every hour to hour and a half for a feeding and takes about a half an hour to burp, so mommy can be a little cranky in the mornings lol.

Alright here goes the first blog....My customers from work finally convinced me to get a blog so they can keep up with the progress on Alexa. (which seems only fair, you guys were with me almost everyday becoming a big part of mine and Alexa's life.) First I just wanted to say thank you so much for all the help through my pregnancy and all the wonderful stuff that was given to Alexa and Caleb!!Im having a hard time preparing myself to go back to work, I am really excited to see all my customers again, but I feel like I need to be home with her everyday and being manager is gonna make it hard not to be at work everyday. Well at least she will be with my mom and my siblings are off for the summer so she'll have lots of fun. I also keep telling myself after we get married and buy a house (which hoping will buy a house within the next few months) that I'll be able to step down as manager and work part time while going to school so we will see :-)
