Alexa is 16 weeks today!!!

Oh my goodness I cant belive I havent been on here in over a month, since Ive been back to work!! Lol. Well everything has been a little crazy but Im starting to get back into the routine of working, since i havent had much time on here over the past month I'll update everyone on what Alexa is doing!

• She rolls everywhere!
• Laughs at everything including herself in mirrors hehe
• She roams our house in her walker like crazy
• She sits up all the time without any help
• She started holding her bottle
• She NEVER sleeps lol
• She started eating a bowl of creal for dinner a week ago
• She attempts to feed herself with her spoon and makes a huge mess
• She no longer uses a binky
• She says Momma, but only when she is mad
• She still has 5 strands of hair lol
• She got a high chair so she gets to be a big girl and eat dinner with us
• She grabs all her toys and tries to eat them whole lol
• She is cutting teeth and she lets us now about it all the time

She has been a handful but it has been soooo much fun and cant wait to see what she does next.

She weighs about 17 lbs, shes our lil chunka, the dr still cant believe her fast development, Caleb was early with everything but not this early! We make sure we get everything on camera so as soon as I figure out how to get the videos on my computer Ill be posting them!

Caleb has grown into such an amazing little boy,he loves to help change Alexa(that video will be up first lol) and just be Alexa's buddy. He is constintly helping us with her and it just warms our hearts, he has alot of love to give and he doesnt mind giving it at all. Seeing Alexa reminds me soo much of Caleb and it just amazes me how smart and grown up he has become!

Our little man starts his last yr of preschool tomorrow and then its off to kinfergarten so this yr will be my last yr to prepare him for it, so weve been working on his reading and by next yr im completly confident that he will be reading at advance levels. He is the type that will always go above and beyond and im looking forward to seeing him use that in his future....I love you Caleb!

What she has been up to!

So updates on Miss Alexa.....She doesnt wont to sleep for mommy anymore!! she wakes up continuously through the night and the last time she wakes up is at 2 in the morning and will NOT go back to sleep I try everything and she just won't its very hard because I get up to go to work @ 4,Im hoping it will get better soon. So as you know Alexa started laughing full force when you tickle her a couple weeks ago but starting this week she started laughing at you, its soo cute you no longer just have to tickle her, Caleb loves to make silly sounds and get her going it is adorable watching them interact together. Also she has been rolling belly to back since she was only a few weeks old but starting last week she rolls over both ways!! Today My sister and I put her on a blanket from a twin bed and she rolled around almost making it to the end!! She is also advancing with her hand eye cordination she can pick up her toys shake them, put them in her mouth, and with one toy you have to push the lady bug around a circle and she does it its soo cute!! We took Alexa and Caleb to their Dr apts last week and they both got shots!! but the dr was amazed with Alexas advancement once agian, she said she is just like Caleb was and she is right I look at Calebs baby book and so far their right on the same page with everything!! Also Dr. Honebrink had some one on one time with Caleb and told us he is the SMARTEST child she has ever met even her own, she thinks we should get him tested to see his level!!! it feels very good to hear those things because I do put being a mom at such a high importance and put being a mom and teaching them everything before myself because that is what makes me happy!! So never going out and spending ALL my time with them pays off!! She also said that she has loved watching Adam and I grow up becoming the best parents to our children(she was my dr when i was 10 and has been Calebs dr since he was born), she is so great I love bringing the kids to her and I trust her 100%. The only bad news we got @ that apt is Caleb may have a heart murmer so we need to take him to a heart specialists, Im trying not to freak out because as a mom that tends to happen lol so till we find out for sure Im trying not to think about it, so everyone pray for our lil guy!!!
P.s. We finally found a church we LOVE!! everyone is soo nice and Adam actually doesnt mind going!! We're going to try and go on a regular basis but with our work schedules it is hard, Im soo glad Caleb has been bugging us because Adam actually agreed to go because he saw how excited Caleb was. So i bought him his frist binle its a kids one so its really neat it makes it very understandable for kids and me lol. So last week Caleb went Vacational Bible School and loved it, it was so much fun watching him sing and dance every morning, then he got to preform in a concert with all the kids in front of all of my family and Adam it was such a great moment watching him on stage!!!

Alexa is 10 weeks today!!!

OMG!! I cant believe my Lexa bug is 10 weeks today!! this week has been kinda crazy I started back at wrk which was hard i had a little emotional break down on tuesday :-( As you guys know Im a starbucks manager and I work 50 hrs aweek, well thats alot of time not being around her and Caleb!! Its like I got a new toy and I have to wait all day to play with it!!!When I was on my way home tuesday I saw a mom taking a walk with her kids and I just started thinking that in 10 yrs I dont wanna look back and remember only me working all the time!! Especially knowing that the policy for managers is you have to work 5 10 hr shifts a wk nothing less and the worst part of it all is I HAVE to work EVERY single holiday!!! I mean I've always had a hard time with it because of Caleb but he understood better and I never felt guilty because I got to stay home with him the first year of his life!! Well luckily she is with my mom half the day and the other half with Adam I just get a littl jealous lol. Well one day maybe I wont have to work as much!!! Oh ya my first day home after work she refused to look at mommy i would talk to her and she would look everywhere but at me she wouldnt even acknowledge I was talking to her but if Caleb or Adam talked to her she would smile and play with them!!! It was very sad for me she must have been mad at me for not being with her all day, but luckily the next she gave me the time of the day lol but since I went back she has been VERY cranky so hopefully she get used to it and get back to the Alexa we know and love, The happiest baby!!

Alexa got her ears pierced!!

Alexa got her ears pierced yesterday, Adam and I have been wanting to do it, so on Fathers day thats what we went and did, she had to have her shots all up to date so she was all ready.
We were going to pick pink (of course lol) but she has been wearing lots of different colors lately and we realized her birthstone was diamonds so it would be perfect they would go with anything!! So the worst part was trying to hold her still Lexa did not like that at all lol but after it was done and over with she only cried for a minute, but if any of the ladies went near her she jumped it was cute!! For some reason they didnt make any smaller earrings so they are a little big but once we can change them after 6 weeks we will but her some different colors and smaller ones!!!

Wow I really Cant believe she is 8 weeks already....I start work in 9 days and am getting a little anxiety about it, I really want to be there for everything! Well the soymilk formula didnt work so tuesday we started the formula Caleb was on (our babies are really exactly the same lol), which so far has done great, she went to the bathroom for the first time with out any help and only cried a little instead of screaming. So it looks like we are on the right track just need to get her on a better sleeping habit its still ever hour and a half feedings and 30 minutes plus for the burping, I work at 5 in the morning and so does Adam so we wanna try and get her sleeping better before I go to work so Im not a mess in the mornings lol.

Alexa seems to grow more and more which is so exciting, last night she started a different giggle instead of a lil chuckle its a full out laugh,its so big especially coming from such a little girl. She hates her swing or bouncer but seems to love her jumperoo,walker, and the bumbo seat. I think its because she like to be up with everyone, part of the fun lol. After her 2 months shots we are going to go get her ears pierced which will be hard to watch but worth it afterwards so we are super excited!!!

On Our Way

This weekend we went and visited Adams family Yolie, David, and Nino Benny. It was a blast I love visiting them and they are so great to the kids!! I enjoy hanging out with Yolie and catching up she seems more like a best friend than anything so it always makes it lots of fun. Our weekend was full of lots of swimming and lounging out so it was nice, Alexa only had a few episodes of crying because of her tummy and the rest of the time she was as happy as can be!

We got lots of pictures with Nino Benny (yolie said next time like always lol) He cant see so Caleb usually gets scared at first because he touches alot to see him in his way and after the first day Caleb warms up easily. During the photo process when we were leaving Nino held Alexa and it was one of most heart felt moments ever I hadn't seem him smile and light up that much ever!! He was so happy while she was loving him and eventually falling asleep, it is a moment I will never forget!! Heres some pictures from our weekend!
